Over twenty-two years across procurement, supply chain and strategy, he has specialised in strategic sourcing, spend management, supplier ecosystems and value-chain optimisation, helping organisations unlock efficiency, resilience and sustainability at scale.
As Head of AI-Driven Procurement Innovation at Marcura, he leads the design and deployment of AI-powered procurement orchestration platforms, embedding compliance and ESG into sourcing strategy, supplier vetting and Scope 3 emissions management for some of the world’s largest shipping operators.
Beyond corporate leadership, Saurish has founded three innovative ventures in Singapore, including Spoolify, the world’s first AI-powered services management platform for maritime, which was successfully acquired in 2021. He holds granted patents on two breakthrough platforms: BlocBox and SeaMiles, both global firsts in their categories.
He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, researching the role of AI in driving sustainability and compliance within maritime procurement.
